When driving on Piermont Road take a look toward East Madison Avenue to see the FARMHOUSE CAFE, 15
East Madison Avenue, in Cresskill, currently under construction. The Farmhouse will be a beautiful cafe with warm natural lighting from huge windows and skylights, and the food promises to be as special as the atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor dining experiences. Teels Baseball, 100 Oakland Avenue in Closter, is offering an Infielders Off-Season Program on Saturdays from 1:30 to 3:00 starting on January 7th. “Soft Hands” will be the directive in this Infielders Camp. Each player will assume his regularly played position. Each 1 hour and 30 minute session is designed to provide each player with the proper mechanics as an infielder. • Learn the meaning of “Field with your feet” • Learn how to grip and throw properly • Focus on every throw; treat every throw with a purpose • Repetition with work on 2-man drills and the best approach to groundballs • Work on double plays, slow rollers, relays, glove side and backhands The cost is $395 and Steve Teel is the Program Director.
