After a very busy and successful first season, the Tenafly Farmers' Market is glad to announce that it will reopen on Sunday, May 16th 2010. The location will be the same as last year - Lot N, Corner of Washington St and Tenafly Road. New hours this year: 10am to 3pm. The market will be open every Sunday through October 31st. So come on down and meet your friends and shop local for healthy, fresh food.

We will welcome back our farmers from last year and we are working hard on recruiting new ones.

The market, as always, will serve as a host for local food producers and farmers. At market you will find the finest quality fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses and breads all grown by and produced within 150 miles.

Last year Tenafly Farmers' Market donated over 3000 pounds of unsold fresh food to the Office of Concern. We also collected 50 pounds of small electronic devices for recycling; the market played host to numerous community guests and artists and we had lots of music and fun activities with the Tenafly Nature Center. We will continue these efforts again this year and work towards even greater partnerships.

This year will are looking for local volunteer chefs to perform cooking demonstrations at market to showcase our fresh seasonal bounty.

We are also looking for general market volunteers to assist us at the Manager's Station. If you are interested, please email: tenaflyfm@me.com.
